 2010 Triad Commissioner College

Commissioner Service continues to grow stronger throughout the Old Hickory Council, and we are kicking off the Centennial Year of Scouting with a spectacular training opportunity for all Commissioners. This year, the Old Hickory Council is serving as host for the Triad Cluster Commissioner College, with Commissioners from neighboring Old North State and Blue Ridge Mountains councils travelling to Winston-Salem for this annual event.

 

This event is a great chance for all Commissioners from the three councils to get together for one day of specific training, with five separate levels of training offered to participants. Unit Commissioners, Roundtable Commissioners and Administrative Commissioners are all welcome to attend this event as a student or to serve on the faculty at all levels.

 

This year’s Triad Cluster Commissioner College will take place on Saturday, January 23rd, 2010 at BB&T University in Winston-Salem (Across Silas Creek Parkway from the Old Hickory Council Service Center). The training sessions will begin at 8:00am and will run throughout the day until 4:00pm. Registration materials will be distributed to all Commissioners in the coming weeks, and more information will be available on-line.
